Final say

I woke from a dream
atop a mountain town
manmade structures surrounded me 
I stood so high upon the skyscraper
Eagle view perching.
But I felt a tremble & shake...
All around, the ground started to rumble
The Earth began to quake.
One by one I gasped as the buildings crumbled.
Culture collapsed.
Just like that.
The Earth Mothers always got the final say.

Admits this chaos I took a giant leap
Spirits of the wind took a hold of me
to the ocean for a soft landing
my eyes were closed as I floated about
cuz I was in doubt,
but the winds guided me
eyes open & an arm pulled me down
did I really make it out of that catastrophe? 

Floating there were the warriors
who carry the same dream.
The tsunami came
together we rode the wave,
Fearlessly. 
Its good to know who's on your team.

I woke with the choice 
to spread fear like wild fire
or build love's golden empire.
Either way, 
the Earth Mothers got the final say.

The true testament is the weight in your heart on that day.
